Maxine Mckay

M. Maxine Alcorn McKay, age 90 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. Maxine was born and raised in Titusville, PA to the late James and Helen Grove Alcorn. She graduated from Westminster College and moved to Kentucky in the early 1950's. She enjoyed many years bowling and serving as league secretary. She worked in the secretarial field before staying home to raise her children. Maxine was a big UofL basketball fan and especially of Denny Crum! She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Maxine is survived by her loving children, Clinton McKay (Gwen Weaver), Jessie Howard (Russell) and Toni McKay Coombs (Patrick); 3 grandchildren, Justin and Lilly Howard and Jacob Coombs; and a host of relatives and friends.

Services are private for the family.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Maxine's memory to the Kentucky Humane Society.
