Maurice Glen Ford

Maurice Glen Ford, 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Maurice was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the Chicago Bears and University of Louisville. He always had a way to bring laughter to your life. He was the life of the party and loved spending time with his family and friends. Maurice will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on November 7, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois to Glen Ford and Carla (Bryson) Taylor. He is preceded in death by his Father, Glen Ford; Grandparents, Anderson Glen Ford and Ernestine Ford.

Maurice is survived by his loving Wife, Nikita R. Ford; Mother, Carla (Bryson) Taylor; Children, Ashley, Marshon, Myren; Step-children, Antasia, Tyrus, Clinton, Michael, and Yazaria; Siblings, Mario Ford, Krystal Ford, and Taniqua Taylor; .

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
