Mattie B., 80, formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away, Friday, November 9, 2012 at Summerfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Louisville, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mattie Fitzpatrick; siblings, Willie Lee, William Jewel, Samuel Jr., Clarence, Earnie and Robert Fitzpatrick; her granddaughter, Twana Amos.
Mattie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Levi Johnson; her children, Teresa Hill, Rodney Amos, Saundra Amos and Gregory Amos (Mona); step-son, Levi Jr.; grandchildren, Traci Taylor, Rashad Amos, Charnelle Sweezer, Rodney Jr. and Kyra Amos; great-grandchildren Trinity, RJ and Kaysha; siblings, Dr. Ralph Fitzpatrick (Brenda), Wilford Fitzpatrick (Nancy), Joe Louis Fitzpatrick (Ilene) as well as a host of family and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be Wednesday at 7 pm at First Baptist Church of Anchorage, with visitation Wednesday from 5:30 until time of service. Burial will be Thursday at Green Meadows Cemetery at 10:00 am.
