Matthew "Scallywag" Voris

Matt, son of Donna and Barry Newhouse, was born in Louisville, KY. He moved to Virginia during childhood but later returned home to Louisville, KY.

Matthew was a proud tattooist by trade. He opened his own tattoo shop Sea of Ink Studio (formally Villified Ink) in Fairdale, KY.

Matt is a Master Mason in good standing of Bremond Lodge # 241, Newport News, Virgina, a former member of Widows Sons MRA, and a proud member of the Rolling Bones chapter of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club.

Matthew emphasized the importance of family. He is a beloved father, fiancé, brother, cousin, loving Opa and friend to many. Leaving behind to carry on his legacy is his loving fiancé Elisha, children Amber Cameron (Tyler), Cameron Trevor (Brice), Mina Dady (Tristen), Taylor Shultz (Rickey), Hanna Shultz (Jordon), Elijah, Brendan, Wesley, Aaron, Trenton, Presley, and his grandson Liam.

Matt never hesitates to show love, kindness and compassion. We ask that you carry on his memory by loving and living life completely.

For those wishing to pay their respects, visitation will be on Friday, July 10th, 2020 from 11am-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home on Dixie Highway.
