Matthew Collier

August 20, 1976 — July 14, 2014

Matthew Briston Collier, 37, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. He was a Senior Technical Recruiter for Pomeroy, Matt enjoyed; classic car restoration, traveling, the great outdoors, and the beach. Matt also was an avid San Diego Chargers fan. Matt had a kind heart and touched a lot of people. Matt was a loyal friend and a guy who would never let you down when you were in need.

Matt was suddenly taken from us so, if you have a friend or family member you haven't touched base with in a while, do it now! Tomorrow may be too late.

He was born on August 20, 1976 in Panorama City, California to Thomas Edward and Charlotte Marie (Galusky) Collier.

Matt is also survived by his brothers, John T. Collier (Denise), Erick J. Collier (Alycia); nephews, Benjamin, Alexander, Elijah, Brandon, Christian, Rylan; and his miniature schnauzer, Murdock.

A time for gathering will be held from 12 until 6 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana. His celebration of life will be at the funeral home Saturday at 4 PM.
