Matthew David Brewer

Matthew David "Matt" Brewer, 32, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Matt worked as a cook for Bubba's 33 in Clarksville and loved skateboarding and being outside hiking and camping any chance he could. He loved feeding the "critters" in his back yard and enjoyed having a craft beer or two.

He was born on November 1, 1985, in New Albany to David and Judith (Flora) Brewer. Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Brewer and Marlene Flora; and father-in-law, Mark Repine.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Brook (Repine) Brewer; brother, Jason Brewer (Teresa); grandparents, Betty Brewer and John Flora; mother-in-law, Cynthia Repine; sister-in-law, Clarissa Repine; his four kitties, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home.
