Mary Zemo

Mrs. Mary Mullins Zemo, age 86 of Louisville passed away Friday, October 28, 2011. Born in Pikeville and having lived most of her adult life in Prestonsburg, she was a member of the Prestonsburg Church of Christ, the Eastern Star – Ada Chapter #24, Miriam Rebekah Lodge #31 and the Ladies Auxillary Patriarchs Militant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents, John W. and Mellie Payne Mullins; daughter, Kathryn Rae Zemo and son, Kenneth Edward Zemo; 6 brothers, Samuel, John, James, Charles, Clyde and William Mullins; and 4 sisters, Myrtle Roberts, Maudie, Pauline and Martha Mullins.

Mrs. Zemo is survived by her children, Allen R. Zemo, Harold, KY and Amy Broadhurst (Joe) of Louisville, KY; sisters, Clara Harris of Staffordsville, KY and Ida Jo Corey of Kingsport, TN. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives.

Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Betsy Layne Church of Christ in Betsy Layne, KY where visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow the service in Davidson Memorial Gardens in Ivel, KY. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hosparus.
