Mary Linda Warren

Mary Linda Warren, age 90, transitioned from her mortal life on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2024.
Mary Linda grew up in Louisiana then married a native Kentuckian and moved to Louisville, KY where she lived most of her life. She was of the Christian Science faith and in mid-life, she moved to Elsah, Illinois where she worked at Principia College until she retired.
Upon retirement, she relocated back to Louisville where she re-established former friendships. An avid and accomplished. piano player, her main passions in life were music and nature.
Mary Linda is predeceased by her parents, Thelma McGehee Warren Griffin and William Reese Warren, and by her sister, Clara Stewart of Louisiana. She leaves behind four daughters and 7 grandchildren.
A private family gathering and interment to be held at Resthaven Cemetery, Louisville, KY on Friday afternoon, April 5th, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
