Mary Virginia Peyton

Mary Virginia Peyton, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 25, 2016. She was a charter member of Christ Church United Methodist and was Past President of the Lyndon Women's Club.
Ginny was born on June 30, 1921 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward and Florence (Merhoff) Kalmey. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles E. Peyton Sr., and a brother Edward Kalmey.
Ginny is survived by her children, Robyn (Jeff) Askam, Richard (Mary George) Peyton, Daniel (Elizabeth) Peyton, Charles Peyton, Jr., and Stephan (Kathleen) Peyton, Sr., eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Fritz Kalmey and a dear friend Annette Peyton.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).
Her funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Christ Church United Methodist (4614 Brownsboro Road Louisville, Kentucky 40207) with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Church United Methodist.
