Mary Virginia Kice

Mary Virginia Kice, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 27, 2015. She retired as secretary from Hurstbourne Baptist Church and was a former member of Southeast Christian Church and a current member of Hikes Point Christian Church. Mary's interests included traveling with her husband, playing the piano, and singing in the choir. Mary was also a volunteer at Baptist East Hospital for 20 years.

Mary was born on February 3, 1929 in Lyons, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Ellen (Standard) Langley. She was also preceded in death by her brother Dr. Leslie W. Langley, Jr.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Arthur Kice, Jr. daughter, Kathy Bundy (Larry), son, Clifford A. Kice, III (Brenda), brothers, Bobby Langley, Charlie Langley and Marion Langley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville).

Visitation will also be on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Hikes Point Christian Church (2601 Hikes Lane Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

Memorial contributions may be made to Hikes Point Christian Church Building Fund.
