Mary Jo Swarens

Mary Jo (Boman) Swarens, 68, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Mary Jo worked at Aebersold's Florist for over 25 years. She absolutely loved spending time at her winter home in Naples, Florida.

She was born on January 25, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Joseph and Mary (Buckley) Boman.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, David Swarens; son, Brad (Emily) Belviy; daughter, Amy (Darren) Hamblin; daughter, Amanda (Tony) Cress; siblings, Vivian Boman, Vickie (Jim) Dotts, Tim Boman, Steve (Rhonda) Boman, and Dwight Boman; grandchildren, Bethany Sanders, Autumn Cress, Chris Cress, Caleb Hughes, Sam Hughes, Addison Hughes, Aaron Hamblin, Jacob Belviy, and Noah Belviy; and her faithful Goldendoodle, Josie Bell.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
