Mary D. Sullivan

Mary Denise Sullivan, age 64 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was the oldest of four children, born to Thomas and Kathleen Sullivan on December 16th, 1958. She graduated from Assumption High School in 1977 and went on to earn an associates degree in commercial art from JCC. Mary had many fulfilling jobs over the years. She was currently her Mother's caregiver and did a great job. She was very artistic and loved to craft and paint. She was politically active and strongly believed people needed to be kind to each other. Mary was crazy about her sweet dog, Hope.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sullivan; her brother, Thomas Sullivan, Jr.; and her sister, Theresa Sullivan.

Mary has left behind to mourn her loss by her mother, Kathleen Sullivan; and sister, Elisabeth Sullivan. She also leaves behind many cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Mary's life will be held there at 5pm.
