Mary Powers

Mary Lucile Powers, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Mary enjoyed and loved riding and taking care of her horses. She was a devoted, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Mary was a loving and caring house wife who was always taking care of those around her. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was born on September 11, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky to Wistar & Lucile (Price) Breckenridge. She is preceded in death by her Parents, her loving Husband of 64 years, Ray Powers, and Son, David Powers.

Mary is survived by her Son, Mark (Sally) Powers, Grandchildren, Justin (Justina) Powers, Travis (Nicki) Powers, Megan (Robbie) McAtee, Morley Powers, and Breck Powers, Great-Grandchildren, Sam Powers, Stella Powers, Lillian Powers, Rory Powers, James Powers, Great Great Grandchildren, Jude McAtee, and Jordan David DiNardo. Mary also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.

The family of Mary would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to her caregivers, Amy & Rachael and the team at Hosparus for their loving care.
