Mary Denise (Clemons) Parker, 50, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on August 29, 2014. Denise had a special place in her heart for children; she loved spending time and playing with them. She enjoyed crafts and all types of dogs.
She was born on May 1, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky to George Clemons and Betty Riesenberg.
Denise is also survived by her loving husband, Dale Parker; son, Joshua Edward Clemons; sisters, Tammy Toland (Doug), and Debbie Olsen (Rod); brother, George "Bud" Clemons, II; step-sister, Jill Johnson; grandchildren, Madison Vincent, Molly and Mia Clemons.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 4 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral will be celebrated at 4 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Cremation to follow.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter (201 Willinger Lane Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130).
