Mary Nell Kibbons

Mary Nell "Nana" Kibbons, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She loved her circle of friends, karaoke and Elvis impersonators. She was a caregiver for too many to mention and was always there when someone needed her. She was the co-owner of the Country Cabin in Crestwood, Ky. She was a person who believed in a higher power and was a deeply spiritual person. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Kibbons; her parents, Roy and Cora Hankins; and all her siblings.

Nana is survived by her children, Cindy Lippert-Smith (Jim) and H. Carl "Red" Moore (Kathy); grandchildren, Christina Lippert-Boston, Nicole Alvey and Bradley Smith; and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 3:30pm Friday, August 15, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with visitation there from 3-8pm Thursday and after 11am Friday until time of services. Nana will be missed by all those she touched.
