Mary Elizabeth Moore

Mary Elizabeth Moore, 67, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Mary was a fanatic of the game Farkle. She loved to shop, especially when it was for Longaberger baskets. She was a longtime member of Memphis Community Church. Mary had a heart to help others and was always looking for a way to volunteer.

She was born on August 8, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late William and Mary (Daniels) Poteete. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Taylor.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Marty Moore; daughter, Crystal Moore; son, Bobby Neeley; son, Harry Moore; daughter, Toni Perkins; sister, Ann Houston; brother, Jim Poteete; brother, Bill Poteete; grandchildren, Malea Elizabeth Haynes, Morgan Rae Neeley, Nichole Midgett, and Justin Neeley; great-grandchildren, Traci Neeley and Addie Neeley; her dear friends, Mary Nolet and Jeani Sumner; and her faithful canine companion, Gizmo.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
