Mary Ridgeway McCullough, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Mary was a loving wife, mother, granny, memaw, sister, aunt, and friend. She was baptized at an early age and carried her faith throughout her life. She always enjoyed seek&finds, old westerns, and she had a green thumb that could make any plant grow. She was a self proclaimed comedian who had a contagious laugh. Mary will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on April 9, 1945 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Leamos and Mary Catherine (Simpson) Ridgeway. She is preceded in death by her Father, Leamos Ridgeway, Mother, Mary Catherine Ridgeway, Husband, Calvin L. McCullough, Siblings, James Abell, Percy Ridgeway, Paul Ridgeway, Clara Martin, Alice Williams, and Diane Sigala.
Mary is survived by her loving Daughters, Debra T. (Glenn) Gray, Virginia T. (Timothy) Barger, and Theresa S. Thomas; Grandchildren, Ashley (Cederic) Thomas, Daionna Thomas, Tramon Taylor, James S. Thomas, Shanice Dunlap, and Gregory Dunlap, Jr.; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings, Lora Crume, Edna Seabrooks, and Donald Ridgeway, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Newburg Church of Christ, 4700 East Indian Trail, Louisville Kentucky 40218. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Newburg Church of Christ.
