Mary Ann Mccellon

Mary Ann McCellon, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved playing poker, listening to music, do her workbook, dancing, cooking, and most of all she loved all of her family with her whole heart. ( She was the rock of the family and the Queen forever). Mary will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on September 8, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clarence and Loretta Hess. She is preceded in death by her Father, Clarence Hess, Mother, Loretta Hess, Son, James Edward McCellon, Daughter, Mary Jo French, 3 Grandchildren, 6 Brothers, 2 Sisters, and The Beloved Miss Lady.

Mary is survived by her loving family, Daughter, Betty Ann McCellon; Grandchildren, Paul Edward McCellon, Jean McCellon, George McCellon, Roy McCellon, Lisa McCellon, Eddie McCellon, and many other Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren, Great-Granddaughters, Halley Ray, Sarah Ann McCellon, and Kayla McCellon; Brother, Eddie Hess, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
