Mary Jean Martin

Mary Jean Martin, 65, passed away on August 3, 2018. She loved playing BINGO with her family. Mary was a loving, caring mother, sister and grandmother, known as MAMAW MARY. Even her nieces and nephews called her Mamaw Mary. Mary was a dedicated and hard worker. She worked for many years of her life and her children and grandchildren could always depend on her for anything, whether it be a smile, hug or a shoulder to lean on or just an ear to talk to, regardless of how many times you had to repeat it. Mary will be dearly missed, but never forgotten, may our kisses be sent up by the wings of butterflies. Rest easy our beautiful Angel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Patsy Campbell, brother, Robert Campbell; sisters, Shelby Campbell and Patsy Sego and son-in-law, Paul Ford.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Ford, Lisa Martin and Tina Martin; grandchildren, Thomas, Joshua, Miracle, Della, Shaun, Nick, Deija, Jeida, Anthony and Donavon; great-grandchildren, Mason, Josh Aiden, and Trinity; sister, Betty Campbell and numerous nieces, nephews and family.

Visitation will be Friday, August 10, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-6pm with a celebration of Mary's life beginning at 6pm.
