Mary Margaret"Mogg"(Koetter) Kruer

Mary Margaret "Mogg" (Koetter) Kruer, 87, died peacefully Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Mercy-Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
Mogg was born on June 2, 1924 in Starlight to the late Julius and Elizabeth (Richart) Koetter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Butch" Kruer, Sr.; siblings, Lucille Koerber, Janet, Richard "Dick" and John Koetter; son-in-law, Mark "Moose" Balmer.
She is survived by her children, Edward "Eddie" Kruer, Jr. (Marilou) of Norfolk, VA, Judy Curry (Mike) of Ocala, FL, Mary Ellen Rodriguez (Rick) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Susie Morgan (Bill) of Kemah, TX, Joe Kruer (Cindy), Jeff Kruer (Terri), Margaret "Peggy" Fessel (CJ), Louise Stumler (Anthony) all of Floyds Knobs, Shirley Balmer (Donnie Bowers) of Sellersburg, Wanda Bryant (Terry) of Starlight; siblings, Jim Koetter (Carol), Ruth Book (Bill), Betty Sprigler (Pete), Dottie Kruer (Jim), Pat Williams (Ken), Carol Calandrino (Frank); sister-in-laws, Susie and Janice Koetter; 24 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 11 AM to 7 PM with a prayer service at 4 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Chapel in Floyds Knobs, Indiana with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt St. Francis Center for Spirituality or Rauch Industries.
