Mary Louise(Geltmaker) Kelmel

Mary Louise (Geltmaker) Kelmel, 89, of Borden, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was a member of St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church. Mary was a talented seamstress and enjoyed playing the piano as well as reading.

Mary was born on September 18, 1924 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late William and Dora (Coffman) Geltmaker. She is survived by her children, Kathy L. White (Don), Elizabeth A. Corcoran (John), Jeanette M. Sparks (Clarence), Joseph E. Kelmel (Diane), Julie C. Mader (Rick); 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews and 3 nieces.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church (2605 St. Joe Road West, Sellersburg) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
