Mary Lou Harris, 72, of Louisville passed away on November 6, 2014.
Mary was born on January 22, 1942, in Star Mills, KY to the late George and Peggy Wood. She married Robert Harris in 1960 in Louisville. Robert preceded her in death in 2009. Mary was also preceded in death by her son, George Walter Harris and brother, Jimmy Wood (Pat).
Survivors include her children, Bonnie Hester (Jason), Tim Harris; sisters, Shelby Polidori (Vinny) and Susan Wright (Ronald); brother, Dave Wood (Linda); grandchildren, Tee Harris (LeAnn), Tiffany Minter, and Mason Hester; great-grandchildren, McKayla and Kamea; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, KY.
