Mary Jane Justice

Mary Jane Justice, 72, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Mary enjoyed horses, motorcycle rides, and Native American history. However, her family was the most important thing to her. Mary loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her world revolved around them and she was known for how thoughtful and caring she was.

She was born on July 14, 1951 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Robert and Thelma (Myers) Justice. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Justice and sister, Barbara Baugh.

Mary is survived by her son, James (Kim) Johnson; daughter, Robin Johnson; adopted son, Justin (Savannah) Watts; adopted son, Matthew (Mahayla) Gooch; sister, Linda (Charlie) Trump; brother, Bobby (Angie) Justice; brother, Buddy Davis; sister, Tina Norman; sister, Margret Foster; many grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
