Mary Jones

Mary Margaret "Maggie" (McNaughton) Jones, 66, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her home. She worked for the Floyd County School System in many different capacities for 34 years. Maggie was very proud of receiving an award for Employee of the Year in 2013.

Maggie was born on January 29, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William Ivan McNaughton & Viola Kay (Demerly) McNaughton. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Russell Jones; daughter, Rebekah Blankenship; son, Benjamin Jones; sisters, Carol White, Jean Conklin, & Diane Britt; brother, Jack McNaughton (Nancy); grandchildren, Bradly Blankenship & Isabelle Jones; aunt & uncle, Jean & Earl Jackson.

Cremation was chosen following Maggie's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will be from 3 to 6 PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 PM.
