Mary Ann Hoskins

Mary Ann Hoskins, age 88 of Prospect, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Mary was born on September 7, 1934. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Mary was a loving homemaker and the bookkeeper for her family business in her younger years. She was an avid sports fan; she loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed sewing and she was an excellent quilter, creating many quilts for her family.

Mary was preceded in death by spouse Forrest Hoskins, daughters Sandra Ann Webb, Debra Lynn Hamilton, Linda Gayle Hoskins, granddaughter Johanna Parker Hoskins, sisters Geraldine Hornback, Caroline Cade, Kathleen Burks and brother Daffo Hornback.

Mary is survived by her son, Forrest Gregory Hoskins (Annette), grandchildren
Michael Lee Hamilton (Tessa), Ashley Nicole Hamilton (Thess), Jordan Mary Webb-Jones (Austin), Madeleine Johanna Hoskins-Reilly (Thomas), Dr. Olivia Parker Hoskins-Dobson (Luke) and John Thomas Hoskins. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Rylee Lynn Hamilton, Jaxon Andrew Hamilton, Daniel Ace Hamilton, Corey Blake Hamilton, Alicia Hope Junior, Peighton Grace Mills, Lylah Carter Mills, Scarlet Rose Mills, Reuben Parker Reilly, sisters, Freida Holbert, Margaret Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Mary Ann's life there at noon. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
