Mary Helen Hodge

Mary Helen Hodge, 94, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Mary loved gardening and cruising. She was previously a member of Colgate Baptist Church.

She was born on September 27, 1928, in Loretto, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Cecil and Clara (Fogel) Cecil. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Benny Hodge; and her siblings.

Mary is survived by her children, Barbara Stinson, Denny (Jan) Hodge, Linda (Mitchell) Ashby, and Patricia Pieratt; sister, Myrtle Denbo; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
