Mary Lou Gore, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was an active member of VFW Post 1693, Forty and Eighth, and American Legion Post 28.
She was born on December 24, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Emerling; grandmother, Ida Jones; and brothers, Richard Blunk and Jim Jeffer.
Mary Lou is survived by her siblings, Deedee Blunk, Von Gore (Rita), Cyd Raney, and Curtis Gore (Kim); and several nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Mary Lou's wish was to be cremated and a gathering to celebrate her life will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at VFW Post 1693. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
