Mary Eversole, a cherished pillar of love and strength, passed away on November 27, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky, just one day shy of her 69th birthday. Born on November 28, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary embodied warmth and compassion, making an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A loving wife to her devoted husband, Doug Eversole, Mary took great pride in her family, raising her two sons, Daniel Eversole and Jeremy Eversole, with unwavering dedication and love. Her life was further enriched by the joy of being a grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Lily Eversole, with whom she shared countless cherished moments and memories that will forever warm the hearts of those left behind.
Mary's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family. She dedicated many years of her life as a receptionist for Parrs at Springhurst Assisted Living Facility, a role that exemplified her hard-working nature and her compassionate heart for those in need. Her colleagues and the residents appreciated her gentle demeanor, bringing comfort and kindness into their daily lives.

In her leisure time, Mary found joy in cooking for her family, sharing meals that brought everyone together at the table. She delighted in her visits to the casino, where she would revel in fun and laughter with those she loved, often bringing back stories and smiles that would light up the room.
Surrounded by her beloved husband as she made her transition into eternal peace, Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is also survived by her brothers, David Aprile (Benita), Michael Aprile, and Christopher Aprile (Doris), her sister, Pamela Dubois (Lou), and another sister, Pamela Eversole. Afterglow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
