Mary Elizabeth Cook, 84, passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born on March 14, 1940.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Jean Cook, parents, George Henry and Margaret Flora (Collins) Harman, brother, Richard "Dick" Harman.

Surviving family includes son, Paul (Theresa) Cook of Westerville, OH, grandchildren, Patrick Cook, Andrew Cook, brother, George "Jack" Harman, nieces, Genevieve Noles, Rhonda Coursey, Betty Jane Ruble, Susan Mudd, Doris Leathers and nephew, George Harman Jr.

Mary and her family have been blessed over the years by many friends and caretakers from Parr's Rest & The Willows at Springhurst, whose kindness and compassion will forever be appreciated. 

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.

Additional visitation will be held from 9-11am, Friday, January 31, 2025 where a funeral service will begin at 11am at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, KY.
