Mary E. (Flannagan) Roberts, 99, passed away on July 16, 2013. She loved to play bingo and gamble, visiting the local casinos and the track. She also enjoyed swimming, sewing, as well as knitting. What Mary enjoyed above everything else in life was her children and grandchildren.
Mary was born on October 4, 1913 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Frederick and Rachel (Lamb) Flannagan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Roberts. She is survived by her loving children, Joan Flamma, Shirley Padula (Joseph), Arthur Roberts, Cindy Doyle; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen according to Mary's wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
