Mary Diane Moore, born on January 20, 1955, in Beech Grove, Indiana, gracefully danced through life until her passing on September 7, 2024. She was a radiant soul whose presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her. For years, Diane found immense joy in her 30 year career at United Communications, fueled by her love for life and helping others. Her dedication to her work was matched only by the love she expressed everyday for the family she created with her husband, Dan, and her many cherished hobbies.
Diane loved to experience the nuances life offered with all of her heart. Hawaii and New Orleans held a special place in her memories. Her fascination with flowers and butterflies reflected her vibrant spirit and appreciation for the beauty of life. She was a devoted grandmother, showering her grandchildren-McKenzie, Olivia, and Simon-with affection and wisdom. Their laughter echoed in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Beyond her love for family, Diane enjoyed dancing and reading, always embracing the joy that came from these simple pleasures. A selfless woman, she lived her life driven by the warmth of love, touching the lives around her with generosity and kindness.
Diane bravely fought against cancer, demonstrating strength and resilience until the very end. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Daniel Moore, who will forever love his brown eyed girl. Their beloved children, Jennifer Gast, Nicholas Moore, and Matthew Moore (Ryan Young); her grandchildren, McKenzie, Olivia and Simon Gast were the light of her life. Her siblings are Cathy (Steve) Broniszewski, Vickie (Jim) Robinson, Bob (LuAnn) Colin, and Terri (Rick) Ransdell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Colin and Marilyn McMillan Colin.
Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of love, laughter, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
