Mary Jane (Shields) Clayton, 70, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on March 8, 2014.
Mary was born on January 22, 1944 to the late Bethel Shields & Sarah "Ellen" (Wright) Stewart. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Wallace "Junior" Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Clayton, children; Mark Alan Clayton, and Carol Clayton-Morris (Rick), sisters; Anna Dempsey, Helen Doyle, and Judy Wiley, granddaughter; Bethany Clayton.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Home of the Innocents (1218 East Oak Street New Albany, IN 47150).
