Mary Catherine Mccubbins

Mary Catherine McCubbins, age 88 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was a graduate of Fern Creek High School, a Catholic by faith, she was formerly employed by Walgreens serving at their cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewan Willie McCubbins; daughter, Sherry Via; son, Donnie; sisters, Loretta, Bell and Margaret; and her parents, Stanley Nathan and Blanche May Sanders Snowden.

Mrs. McCubbins is survived by her son, Ronnie Bailey (Joyce); grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Corey and Kayla Bailey and Jamie Via; many "favorite" nieces and nephews.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
