Mary Catherine Carroll

Mary Catherine Carroll, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Mary was the best mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could ask for. She retired from Bacons after 20 years and in her free time she loved designing flower arrangements. She always loved cooking and spending time with her family. Mary will truly be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on November 17, 1934 in Lebanon, Kentucky to James and Catherine (Cooper) Wright. She is preceded in death by her Father, James Nathaniel Wright, Mother, Catherine Cooper Wright, Husband, John Donlon Carroll, Son, Tommy Carroll, Grandson, Joey Grech, Great-Grandson, Chance McElroy.

Mary is survived by her loving family, Daughters, Linda Young, Teresa "Terri" (Mark) Pawley, Kelly Carroll (Scott), Sharon "Shari" Grech, and Karen (Brian) Livers; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Sharon McDaniel; Sister-In-Law, Linda Wright, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Graveside Service will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, at Calvary Cemetery - Louisville.
