Mary C.(Blessinger) Freiberger

Mary C. (Blessinger) Freiberger, 93, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday morning, January 31, 2011 at her home. Mary enjoyed flowers and working in the garden. She also loved to bake cookies and cakes. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.

Mary was born on September 5, 1917 to the late Herbert and Cecilia (Fritch) Blessinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis M. "Bill" Freiberger, and a sister, Alice Blunk.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Freiberger of New Albany; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with a Rosary at 4 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, February 4 at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
