Mary C. Bottom (Mosgrove)

Mary C. Bottom (Mosgrove), 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born on December 25, 1956 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late William F. and Wanda L. Mosgrove. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Mosgrove and Paul Mosgrove.

Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, David A. Bottom; daughter, Kimberly Bottom Shane (Morgan); son, David E. Bottom (Anna); grandchildren, Brody and Emmy Shane; sister, Wanda Carley (Paul); brothers, Ron Mosgrove (Michelle) and John Mosgrove; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mary was a graduate of Moore High School in Louisville. She loved working in the accounting department at Southeast Christian Church for many years. Prior to that she worked at St. Matthews Elementary, as she was very involved in her children's lives. Mary enjoyed volunteering with various ministries at Southeast Christian, including the Choir and the Prayer Ministry. Mary's joy was contagious and apparent to everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Chapel In The Woods (1407 Moser Road). A service to celebrate Mary's life will follow that day at 2:00 PM at the chapel. Cremation was chosen.
