Mary Jayne (Parrish) Bostic of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on December 16, 2010. Mary was a former bookkeeper with the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mary loved to read and visit the library. She enjoyed playing Euchre and shopping, but her real passion was her family with whom she was so dearly devoted.
Mary was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William R. and Mary Catherine (Lambert) Parrish. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Bostic, Sr., and her son, Patrick Bostic.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Bostic, Jr. and his wife, Denise of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Michael Bostic and his wife, Carolyn of Corydon, Indiana; daughter, Cathy Hussung and her husband, Brad of Georgetown, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Dawn Manor and her husband, Greg, Christina Callaway, all of Prospect, Kentucky, Donald Bostic, III of White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia, Amber Davis and her husband, Joe of Chicago, Illinois, Zachary Bostic of Louisville, and Patricia and Andrew Hussung of Georgetown, Indiana; three great grandchildren, Ryan Taylor and Caitlin and Bryce Callaway.
The Memorial Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) followed by the Funeral Service at 12 PM Monday at the funeral home.
