Mary C. Bennett

Mary C. Bennett, 76, passed away on November 20, 2023. She was a true woman of God and loved spreading His word. Mary's family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Bennett; parents, Winston and Mary Bennett; siblings, Vera Bennett, Joann Hearn, Winston Bennett, Jr., Kathy Nichols and William Bennett.

Mary leaves to cherish her son, Thomas (Marie) Wells; grandchildren, Shawnta (Brandon) Rowe, Jajuan Smith and Rickey Murphy; great-grandchildren, Jordyn Thomas, Rubi Rowe, Rose Rowe and Brandon "Bo" Rowe, Jr.; siblings, Henry Bennett, Kenny Bennett and Jerry Bennett and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 11am-1:30pm with a celebration of Mary's life beginning at 1:30pm.

Mary will be laid to rest at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
