Baker, Mary ,72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 5, 2014. She worked for Apple Home Cleaning and was a former member of 18th Street Baptist Church. Mary was born on February 7, 1942 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late William and Mae Tweedy.
She was also preceded in death by her Daughter, JoAnn Bearden.
Mary is survived by her Daughter, Jackie Brumett; Grand-children, Nikki Brumett, James Brumett, Samantha Brumett (Byron Jewell), Jessica Watts (Ken); Great-grandson, Remy Jewell, Great-granddaughter, Makayla Watts; and her three loving dogs, Baby, Boston and Tigger Baker.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Celebration of Life for Mary Baker will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
