Mary Ann Mcintire

Mary Ann Clayton McIntire, age 90 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was a "professional mother" to her family and many others. She and her husband for many years operated a business in Mid-City Mall. This business was devoted to treasure-hunting. Moving to Florida after the death of her husband, and at age 63, she went back to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, after which she cared for many older people. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Catherine Ann McIntire, her loving husband of 33 years, Billy Reed McIntire and her parents, Samuel L. and Sarah Durrough Clayton.

Mrs. McIntire leaves to cherish her memory her sons, James Michael, Steven and William Joseph McIntire; daughters, Patricia Mastin, Sara Able and Bonnie Frisby; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
