Marvin Edward Rowe, 82, of New Albany died on July 7.
Marvin retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a manager with General Electric Company and a director with Central American Airways. Marv enjoyed piloting his airplane from Bowman Field for many years.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of more than 56 years, Betty Ann; daughter, Barbara Ann and her husband, Thomas Wagner; son, Frederick Marvin and many relatives. The family would like to specially thank the Louisville Cardiologist Group for their years of care and friendship.
His Visitation will be 1 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scottsville Christian Church (7857 Scottsville Road, Floyds Knobs, IN).
