Marvin E. Bostock

Marvin E. Bostock, Sr., 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his home. He retired as a supervisor from Phillip Morris in Louisville and also had worked for IPC in Clarksville. Marvin was the former president of the Clarksville Little League.
Marvin was born on November 30, 1937 in New Albany to the late Marion Bostock and Doris (Hasenstab) Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Alicia K. (Pool) Bostock; children, Marvin Bostock, Jr. (Kim), Scott Bostock (Sherri), Debby Bauer (Tim), Suzy Hinson, Thom Fetz, Nathan Fetz, Shawn Bostock (Amber); brothers, Dale, Nobby, Larry Joe Bostock; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 7 PM Friday, April 5, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 7 PM on Friday with cremation to follow. Private burial will take place at a later date at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana.
