Martin "Marty" Patrick McCue Jr., 70, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Martin and Dorothy Saam McCue. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce McCue.
Marty is survived by his son, Martin "Patrick" (Rhea) McCue, III; daughter, Kristie Anderson; son, Anthony "Tony" (Jasmine) McCue; grandchildren, Steffanie (Jeremy) Bobby, Jessica Hunt, Alexandria "Ali" Anderson, Kyle (Olivia) Creech, Jonathan Hunt, Derrick Scot Anderson, Aidan McCue, Olivia Anderson and Meadoe Creech; 5 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Donna McCue, Debbie (Douglas) Terry and Carla McCue.
Cremation was chosen following Marty's wishes. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) was entrusted with his care and no services will be held at this time.
The family requests that contributions in Marty's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (135 W Muhammad Ali Blvd, Louisville, KY 40202).
