Martin Ray Evans

Martin Ray Evans, 68, formerly of Denair, California, passed away on May 23, 2024 in Crestwood, Kentucky. He was born on January 16, 1956 in Modesto, California to the late Vester and Buna Evans. Martin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debi Evans; son, Jeremy Evans (Stephanie); grandchildren, Hannah Rose and Sadie Grace; brother, Dave Evans (Charlotte) of Livingston, Texas; Galen Haile "adopted son" (Beth); sister-in-law, Tammy (Tom); niece Katie (Matt) and her tribe, Ryan and Madison and the wonderfully crazy Douglas clan. There are many more people that touched Martin's life, in ways that we may never know, so please know that we love you all, even if you aren't listed. Thank you for being a part of his life and making it a damn good one!

Martin took care of everyone around him. He blessed us all with laughter, love and pride for his family. He created a life to be proud of and a legacy of love that will last multiple lifetimes.

A memorial service will be planned next year in California.
