Martha Joan Voll, 75, of New Albany, Indiana, died on Friday, August 8th, at her home.
She was born on July 1, 1939 to the late Vincent and Dorothy (McKiernan) Voll. She is also preceded in death by brother, Tommy Voll, brother-in-law, Jim Smith, and great-niece, Krista Smith.
Martha is survived by her siblings, Jim Voll, Mary Ann Smith, Susie Ems (Jake), Libby Kruer (Tom); aunt, Sr. Marcia Voll, RSM; her beloved nieces and nephews, Tim Smith, Marci Smith (Ang Travis), Chris Smith (Laura), Michael Ems, Daniel Ems (Amy), Tom Ems, Kathe Beehler (JT), Matthew Kruer (Angie), Andrew Kruer (Sarah) and 14 great nieces and nephews.
Martha was blessed with many strong, longstanding friendships including elementary and high school friends, members of her church family and post colleagues.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2014 at 7 o'clock in the evening, at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 S. 5th St., Louisville, KY). Cremation was chosen following Martha's wishes.
In honor of Martha, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
