Martha "Peggy" Sharpe, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Peggy was health care worker and enjoyed helping people. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. Peggy enjoyed watching her shows which included "Wheel of Fortune, Jepordy, and Judge Judy". She loved being on Facebook and playing all the computer games.
She was born on August 13, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky to Raymond and Luclille (Ray) Mingus. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Edward Sharpe and they were together for 59 years, her Parents, Siblings, Alfred Mingus, Richard Mingus, Mildred Mingus, and James Mingus, Son-In-Law, Matthew Neumann, and Great-Grandchildren, Andrew Miller and Dustin Cooper
Martha is survived by Daughter, Paula Jean (Jim) Phillips, Daughter, Marsha Neumann, Son, Gary Sharpe, Daughter, Tina R (Robert) Ayers, Sister, Joyce Marie (Jerry) Simmons, Grandchildren, Dawn R (Brian) King, Dana (Brooks) Tucker, Deanna Phillips, Dori Ross, Lisa (Jay) Cooper, Aimee Miller, Gary Sharpe, Jr., Heather Ayers-LeSane, and Robert Ayers, Great-Grandchildren, Jordan Metzmeier, Zane Tucker, Zoey Tucker, Savannah Lewis, Summer Ross, Sage Ross, Ashley Miller, Jacob Cooper, Kaylee Sharpe, Mason LeSane, Kaden LeSane, Will Ransdell, and Jaxson Ayers, Great-Great Grandchiild, Teagan Lewis, and Step Great Grandchildren, Kaylee Ransdell, Boo Ransdell, and Sam Ciresi
Visitation will be on Monday, December, 7, 2020. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with Entombment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 regulations, Visitation and Services will be by invite only.
