Martha J. Schelling Sharbatian, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
She graduated from Holy Rosary Academy and worked at several insurance companies in Fort Worth, TX and Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank Mattingly and Ruby Triplett Mattingly; her siblings, Betty Soete (Leonard), James Mattingly and Mary Jo Goad (Jim).
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Schelling, Michael Schelling, Sr. (Vivian) and Gail Ashley (Den); grandchildren, Jacob Ashley (Katie), Michael Schelling, Jr. (Kerstie), Chelsea Schelling Denton (Emily) and Madison Ashley. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, LeAnne, Keith, Kevin, Laura, Karen and Paula and many other nieces and nephews; and two great-grandchildren on the way.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm, visitation will also go until 8:00 pm that evening at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. 40243).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
