Martha Rose (Caswell) Palmer

Martha Rose (Caswell) Palmer, 86, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. She retired from General Electric in Louisville and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Martha was a devout Christian and active member of First Assembly of God in New Albany.

She was born on June 21, 1936, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Fred, Sr., and Viola (DeVore) Caswell. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy, Fred, Jr., Violet, Arthur, Johnny, Carolyn, Lucille, and Elizabeth.

Martha is survived by her children, Cheri Jarboe (David) and Ricky Palmer (Brenda); granddaughter, Michelle Eve; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Tausha, and Jacob Terrell; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Bolten Morrow; brother, Charles Caswell; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany with her funeral service taking place at 4:00 p.m.
