Martha Bratton Nelligan, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023 with the presence of family.
She was born on April 9, 1937 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Jennings and Thelma (Kabler) Bratton. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Bratton.
Martha grew up in the Scottsville, KY area and lived in various places, Paducah, Lexington, Louisville and Florida. She enjoyed painting, sewing, traveling throughout the world, and spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her loving children, Bradford Bratton Mutchler (Dana), Lisa Mutchler Gilmore (Merle), Ann Mutchler King (Paul), nine grandchildren, Andrew B. Mutchler (Ashley), Kevin L. Gilmore, Jonathan D. Mutchler (Lauren), B. Cole King (Shelley), Ryan M. Gilmore (Lucy), Kate Wynns (Justin), P. Travis King (Mary), Emily A. Nichols (Zack), Elizabeth G. Wilson (Keith), great-grandchildren, Palmer Wynns, Olivia Mutcher, Helen Wynns and Bradford Mutchler. She is also survived by sister, Mary Frances Bratton-Jeffery, sister-in-law, Ronda Bratton and a host of extended family.
A celebration of Martha's Life will be held at a later date.
