Martha Susan "Marty" Creal , 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
She was born on April 8, 1930 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Hugh and Ola Creal. Marty graduated from Frankfort High School in 1948 and was in the top 10 of her class. She was a 1952 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Mathematics. While in college she enjoyed playing tennis. Marty was employed with GE Jet Engines for her entire working career. While at GE she was able to work on the first computer that GE owned. She was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church. Marty's passions included travel, cats, donuts, dark chocolate, shopping, jewelry, watching golf, watching the UK Wildcats, instrumental music and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh R. and Ola Creal; and friend, Pat Sewell.
Marty is survived by life long friend of 86 years, Alice Ann Cull Sanders; the Hoffman, Dixson, Tucker, Hayden, Harten, families; and Shelby Voll, Pam Biederman, and special friends at The Forum.
Per Marty's request there will be no service and she will be laid to rest at Frankfort Cemetery.
